[FREE] 1/250 Whiskey III-Class Papermodel

A successor of Soviet Navy S-class submarine as the result of lessons learnt during WWII and captured German submarine technology, Whiskey-class is Soviet's most produced submarine and also most produced post-WWII submarine class with 236 boats finished.

12 of these boats ends up under Indonesian Navy service since late 1950's as Tjakra-class (not to be confused by later Cakra-class which is Type 209  submarine from Germany). One of the boat, KRI Pasopati is now preserved as museum ship in Surabaya

To commemorate Indonesian Navy anniversary (Hari Armada) which is today. I decided to share this model for free. The model is pretty simple and straightforward (since i literally model this ship in one sitting) but i included a little instruction page.

[FREE] 1/250 Mil Mi-24A "Hind-A" Papermodel

An early version of the Mi-24, which could carry eight combat troops and three crew members. It could also carry four 57mm rocket pods on four underwing pylons, four MCLOS 9M17 Fleyta (AT-2 Swatter) anti-tank missiles on two underwing rails, free-fall bombs, plus one Afanasev A-12.7 12.7mm machine-gun in the nose. The Mi-24A was the first production model.

The original project was originally supposed to be somekind of a little modification on already-available PRModels Mi-24, but of course i went overboard and makes a full build.

[FREE] 1/250 GAF Nomad Papermodel

GAF (Government Aircraft Factory) Nomad is Australian utility aircraft first flown in the 70's. It was immediately considered as a problematic aircraft because of incorrect calculations being used, increasing stability issues, thus compromising its safety (out of 172 aircraft assembled, 32 involved in an accident with total loss, let that sink in).

Was not really in a mood for a complicated papermodel so 1/250 it is, the models have two variant inside, N-22A and N-24B, both based from Indonesian Navy's 800 Squadron, flown by Penerbal (Pusat Penerbangan Angkatan Laut-Naval Aviation Centre).

N-22A

N-24B, basically the stretched N-24A

[FREE] 1/250 Lockheed AH-65 Cheyenne & Sikorsky S-67 Blackhawk Papercraft

The Lockheed AH-56 Cheyenne was an attack helicopter developed by Lockheed for the United States Army. It rose from the Army's Advanced Aerial Fire Support System (AAFSS) program to field the service's first dedicated attack helicopter. Lockheed designed the Cheyenne using a four-blade rigid-rotor system and configured the aircraft as a compound helicopter with low-mounted wings and a tail-mounted thrusting propeller driven by a General Electric T64 turboshaft engine. The Cheyenne was to have a high-speed dash capability to provide armed escort for the Army's transport helicopters, such as the Bell UH-1 Iroquois.

The Sikorsky S-67 Blackhawk was a private-venture, prototype attack helicopter built in 1970 with Sikorsky Aircraft research and development (R&D) funds. A tandem, two-seat aircraft designed around the dynamic drive and rotor systems of the Sikorsky S-61, it was designed to serve as an attack helicopter or to transport up to eight troops into combat.

AH-65 Cheyenne, pretty cool looking helicopter, like something you would see on anime or 80's movie.

S-67 Blackhawk, also a cool looking helicopter, reminds me of Mi-24 Hind and a shark.

Another simple 1:250 scale papercraft consisting of a Bf-109 fighter and the projectile itself.

[FREE] 1/250 Heinkel He P.1068.01-83 Papermodel

Description from luft46.com:

"In 1942, the RLM contacted Junkers to design a four-engined jet bomber, which became the Ju 287. Meanwhile, Heinkel also did some design work on this specification. In June 1943, the RLM issued a different specification for a two seat bomber with a bombload of 2000 kg (4409 lbs) and a speed of  800 km/h (497 mph) over a range of 2500 km (1554 miles). Siegfried Günter of the Junkers Design Bureau in Vienna designed at least four versions of the P.1068 by the end of 1943. Some of this design work was later used for the Heinkel He 343. On the third design, the P.1068.01-83, the wings and fuselage were reduced in size in order to increase the speed but keeping the same payload. Of course, the smaller fuselage meant a reduced fuel supply, and so the range was less than the first design's (He P.1068.01-78). Four He S 011 turbojets located on the leading edge of the wing were to provide the power. Remote controlled, rear firing armament was included with this design also. However, the aircraft was lighter by four metric tons, which was of a benefit given Germany's scarcity of raw materials at this stage in the war."

Simple 1:250 papercraft consisting of 2 model, the original with thick line and the reworked version with thinner line and different color.
